Behind the songs

A life lived close to the truth.

Dale Thomas Roberts is an Arkansas singer-songwriter whose music begins where easy answers end.

A former Army combat medical specialist, firefighter/paramedic, flight paramedic, and emergency-room nurse, Dale has spent a lifetime witnessing people at their strongest, most vulnerable, and most human.

Now working from his own home studio as a literal one-man garage band, he brings that experience—and an MFA writer’s instinct for vivid storytelling—to songs about love, consequence, conscience, and redemption.

“I’ve always believed a song should leave you with something more than a melody.”
